I will afraid that the left, the centre left, and yes, the centre right, will not lay down their differences to oppose him with one voice. The markings of National Socialist fascism are so obvious, so blatant, so obnoxious that we dare not speak out as one, without compromise nor division, no matter whom we support in the Democratic primaries.

(54,001 posts)We underestimated Ronald Reagan and look what happened. As much as I love Bernie, I don't know if he'd fare any better. This is the year of the crazy.

(85,179 posts)Sanders has many disadvantages in that race. The biggest being his timidness and general weakness. Trump would steamroll him.

(30,058 posts)We do not get out and vote. It would be terrible to allow Trump to win, when you hear him on progressive ideas it should scare the hell out of those who wants to keep the progressive progress gained. Giving Republicans an opportunity to select another SC nominee would probably bring many more CU like rulings. Not voting is turning over our nation to Republicans.

(2,760 posts)They've already pushed whatever chance they had of picking up Black votes back an entire generation, Trump would do the same thing for the Hispanic vote.
I'm 35, we may not have another Republican President in my lifetime.
