I just want everyone to know how INSIGNIFICANT Bernie Sanders is

he has ZERO chance of becoming president, of passing legislation, or doing anything at all of any significance. It's really critical for everyone to get the word out as to how utterly insignificant Bernie Sanders is.

Personally, I plan to post several times each day how totally insignificant Bernie is. Because his insignificance is unbelievably important.

He is of no consequence whatsoever. It's our job to make sure that every single American knows that. Because yes, he's that dangerous.

Regards,

TWM

You were trying to snark, and it fell rather flat.

I recognize satire just fine. There is a difference between good satire...and lousy, forced, lame, only-appeals-to-partisans shitflinging, which, though called "satire," is really just sad, bitter snarking.

Distinction, and difference.

When you do it right, you afflict the comfortable, and comfort the afflicted. When you do it poorly, the reader CRINGES at the overreach, desperation, and flopsweatishness of the writer. It's a pity kind of thing, you see. Like someone who keeps yelling "You're a POOPY Butt!" because they've got nothing of significance to say, but they're just .... MAD.

So your point--whatever you thought it was--was not even slightly taken. Sorry! And what's that you're doing here? Would it be, could it be .... a bit of that "protest so much" you mentioned? This is a discussion board--if you don't want to discuss, don't! No one has duct taped your fingers to your keyboard and forced you to engage. It's a voluntary exercise that you can eschew at will.

This isn't a reactive, pander-bear campaign that HRC is running. That's part of the reason why she's so far ahead. She's not tossing up flimsy tents here and there, she's building a community, brick by brick. It's why she does small group dynamics and doesn't have a formulaic stump speech. She lets people ask HER questions and she listens to their gripes and responds to them.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-army-deletes-tweet-after-accusations-of-racism-only-to-provoke-more-anger-10016273.html

The US Army has deleted a tweet after it was accused of being racist.

On Thursday, the army’s official account sent a tweet referring to “chinks” in the armour of its Special Operations capabilities.

It read: “Chinks in special ops’ digital and physical armor poses challenges, experts say.”

Even though “chinks in armour” is an expression referring to a weakness or vulnerability, the tweet was received with anger by some, who pointed out that the word “chink” can also be used as a racist term referring to people of Chinese descent.
