Will take a patients house as payment, then sue the family for more money once the patient dies.

no matter what economic or policy you promote, it's not justice unless it applies to all in the US.

No loopholes, no exceptions.

A universal path to citizenship, salary transparency, profit sharing, voting rights. The keys to social justice and all other forms of justice are not found at a Wall Street address or simply a new minimum wage that only applies to the documented.

It's serious policy and thoughtful law that works for everyone.

Anecdotal story -

Friend of mine has insurance through his work, wanted to get a colonoscopy because his family has a history of it. He is in his forties. His insurance will cover the colonoscopy but if they find anything like a polyp he isn't covered for that.

How you like them apples?

This has to end.

Bernie Sanders has a plan to cover everyone regardless of income, regardless of ability to pay. Nothing will ever be perfect, but it would be a solid step in the right direction.

All of the people here blathering on about tax increases and other obfuscation can go climb a tree. Single payer is the way to go!

Co pays, deductibles, and co insurance, possible annual max of 40% of their take home pay. Our annuals went from 500/yr to 8500/yr in 2014 to 12500/year for 2016, Obamacare has dumped the entire 200 million per year healthcare profit requirement onto working stiffs. And someone from the fan club said, "they probably won't hit the annual max", and thought that closed the case for how great Gingrich care is.

It's getting difficult to keep faith in the party when people like Clinton are considered our leaders, and Sanders is reviled by the hillarians.

The Medicaid expansion has saved countless lives. Covering pre-existing conditions too. Obamacare/ACA was truly a step forward in many ways.

But we still have a lot of problems in the system and ACA and we have to go further and get to the root cause of the health care problems which is the for profit insurance company bullies.
