That $17K comes from donations from individuals. Sanders has not criticized the tradition of receiving donations from individuals.

However, BOTH candidates have criticized the relatively new custom of receiving money from Super PACs, and only ONE of them has been practicing what he preaches.

In fact, Clinton has two Super PACs working directly for her campaign (Ready PAC and Priorities USA Action). Combined, they have raised over $20,000,000. Much of that $20,000,000 has come from corporations.

Sanders doesn't have any Super PACs working under his direction. Not one. And the one Super PAC that has been supporting him WITHOUT his direction is funded by a nurses' union. Are you able to see the difference here? One candidate is beholden to corporations, and the other is beholden to people.

Familiarize yourself with the Federal (and State) Campaign Finance laws and it will become evident either how untrue or how intentionally misleading the numbers in that graphic are.

The exchange is at the 1:01 to 1:03 mark in the debate video. I don't know how to cut paste or post videos from my phone, but it's there.

Basically if Bernie can talk about her entire career, why can't she. Of course she can, especially after his cheap shot attack just for applause lines.

But that was NOT the issue being discussed at the time, and is a totally separate issue from the ongoing relationship she has had with Big Money.

This is how you win elections. Nothing wrong with pointing out truths about your competitor. Hillary damn sure does when she gets a chance. Trouble is Bernie hasn't given them much to work with because he's a good guy doing a good job of representing his constituents, Hillary on the other hand has given Bernie all the ammo he needs because she panders to the rich. Hillary wants to be Rich and she wants to be President and will do anything necessary to get either one, preferably both.
We should treat her as we should the people who really really want to be a cop. By not letting them be one. People who really want to be cops are the ones who are for the most part the bad apples we hear so much about, same with politicians.

The video of her laughing her ass off about war that is floating around DU right now should be enough to make anyone here's stomach churn. After viewing that video I no longer like her at all. Of course I'm a person who does know what war is so maybe thats why I feel as I do but irregardless war is an admission of failure. A failure to find peace, peacefully. As Bernie says it should be as a very last resort, not as a bargaining chip.
