Have already endorsed Clinton.
That is an unbelievable record considering the first vote hasn't even been cast for our nominee.

(14,255 posts)Politicians endorse other politicians, usually, because they hope to gain by the endorsement.
I do not feel that I have anything to gain, and much to lose, by voting for Clinton. So I will not.
Bottom line.

An overwhelming number of congress folks are returned to office by offering voters well grounded, substantive proposals.

(50,414 posts)I have a hunch that a lot of those "malcontents" are just fed up with a corrupt system that gives us "more of the same" year after year.

(5,621 posts)The only elections she has won is in New York, where not only did Moynihan get her the Democratic nomination, but it was in a almost totally blue state. Big whup!
I can't see where she has won anything else. She was First Lady because of Bill and Secretary of State because of Obama. Not a great track record of winning.
Bernie has won every election since the middle 1980's, so who is the real winner?

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/195188-hillarys-hit-list
There was a special circle of Clinton hell reserved for people who had endorsed Obama or stayed on the fence after Bill and Hillary had raised money for them, appointed them to a political post, or written a recommendation to ice their kids application to an elite school.
On one early draft of the hit list, each Democratic member of Congress was assigned a numerical grade from one to seven, with the most helpful to Hillary earning ones and the most treacherous drawing sevens. The set of sevens included Sens. John Kerry, Jay Rockefeller, Bob Casey, and Patrick Leahy, as well as Reps. Chris Van Hollen, Baron Hill, and Rob Andrews.
Yet even seven didnt seem strong enough to quantify the betrayal of some onetime allies.

When asked why, according to the friends June 20, 1994, diary entry, Clinton said, Revenge.
There's no downside to not endorsing Sanders... he's not a vengeful person. But no one wants to be on the wrong side of Hillary Clinton, whether she wins or loses.
