Look at her history and her efforts. That will give you the answer.

She has been working for the downtrodden since teenage years, to this day, in positions she has taken, work outside her profession and money given.

It is clear.

Have we had a candidate that has actually gotten involved over a lifetime, in the same manner as Clinton?

I don't think anyone here criticizes her for her work on traditional Democratic issues. And she's a product of the decades of Centrist Democrats. This came about when being called a Liberal was a pejorative and a dead as a doornail. We're the same age. That's why we had to come up with Progressive, IMO.

In any case, the Left has some new life and power and she's running as a Moderate...she can't honestly get much toward the left. All that said, Bernie is the litmus test of how strong the New Left/Progressive Movement has become.

We have a clear choice...two Democrats...one is a Corporatist, the other, an anti-corporist, taking his chances on igniting new people to vote without buckets of money...who might think maybe their vote does matter. I believe O'Malley is running for VP or a top slot in the Cabinet...with he greatly deserves.

As to her youth, I give her a break. You are schooled at home in a political family. I was a Nixon Girl in high school and just by chance, graduated from his alma mater (very liberal college), re-assessed and made up my own mind and my first vote was for McGovern and never looked back. (I think it was or near the last year one had to be 21 to vote.)

I enjoy the reasoned debate on the two candidates, but wish there was less of unreasonable accusations...charges of hating and baiting et al. And I see nothing wrong with the OP. It's a question every Democrat should know and be able to back up.

JM2cents.

A vote for Hillary is a vote for someone who'd likely appoint a Supreme Court Justice that would uphold its legality.
