Bernie Sanders Gained More Twitter Followers Than Any Republican Candidate During Tuesday's Debate!

Tuesday’s Republican debate was full of tweetable moments. But the Twitter victor of the debate wasn’t a Republican candidate or pundit. It was Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.

The senator from Vermont gained more new followers than any other presidential candidate during the debate, according to Twitter Government.

So, Republicans fed up with endless war are going straight to Sanders, but not to Hillary? Is that because she said '"Terror!!" will be the main focus of her campaign? Is pointing the weather vane to the hard right "Terror!1!" clown car a bad decision for her campaign?

As all Democrats should I would think. A democratic candidate gets more of this kind of attention during a republican debate than any of the candidates debating. It should be sheer pleasure for progressives everywhere no matter what candidate they support.

Anytime we Democrats can outshine the nattering Republicans is a win. Even if it's on Twitter. That was a great PR move, on Bernie's part. I love that he did that.
