(1,325 posts)Just a point about income. The median income for a single worker in the US is just under $27,000 per year. The median annual income per household is just over $53,000. I don't know what the actual income for a single worker in Denmark truly is, but in this country, time and time again stories are written that confuse annual income per individual with households. Households include all family members living at a single address with their incomes combined. That's why fox noise and CNN think the average income for a worker is over $50K when it's not even $27K. From the article:
annual income for a single person in Denmark is about $46,000 compared with $54,000 in the United States
My guess is that this is a comparison of household incomes and not single person incomes?

(61 posts)According to the IMF, average income in Denmark is 56.000$ per capita. So, yes, that's income for a single person.
