A positive thread for Sanders and Clinton supporters. Post something nice about the other candidate

Two ground rules:

No cop out by trying to use O'Malley instead of Clinton or Sanders. His supporters and his policies rarely end up on the angry side of GDP. Truly they are our Switzerland.

Please no snark. I can't force anyone to truly be nice, but I would like to have one thread where we come together and realize both of our top choices are much preferable to the other side. If you don't feel like participating, then don't, but please avoid crapping on other responses or posting something like "no thanks" or "there is nothing good about that candidate".

I'll start.

Bernie Sanders has created a tremendous amount of excitement for part of the base that has long felt neglected or underappreciated. He has a very simple and direct message that is capable of resonating with voters and has parlayed that into a campaign that has far exceeded all expectations. Moreover, he has succeeded in pushing the conversation to the left to the betterment of the whole party.

I like her standard that no voter should have to wait more than a half-hour at the polls.

She can work with people in Congress and push them toward more progressive solutions. She has proved this many times. She's kind of a nerd when it comes to policy and I mean this in a good way. She's as prepared and as smart as they come.

Bernie: He's a champion for poor people, both the working poor and those who are unable to work. I think that is one of the highest compliments one can give. He truly wants to give them a leg up.

Edited to add, there are far more Bernie supporters so H will get more accolades. This is like polling, stupid.

And it would be considered meta if I asked to say something nice about the supporters so I went with the candidates.

I am not saying this is one, but there are many.

I think if we kept to issues for OPs that actually let the reader know something about where the candidates stand or did stand at one to, that would go a long way.

But we get a lot of useless stuff that shouldn't be OPs to begin with.

This is pretty useless, too. IMO, YMMV.

about anyone but Bernie.

Even after Bernie's campaign warned DNC for months, and contacted the vendor this week....they are going to make Bernie a scapegoat for the vendor failures.

That will not fly with me at all.

It's called playing dirty.

and he has built a formidable amount of support in the primary. He has stuck to his message and made his message resonate with vast numbers of people. He has run a good campaign overall.
