Sanders campaign acted ethically

It was the Sanders campaign that told the vendor that their computer 'momentary computer glitch' was comprising campaign data.
"NGP VAN corrected the breach after the Sanders campaign alerted the company to it, according to the DNC."

The Sanders campaign had told the DNC that campaign data was being exposed months ago.
"Michael Briggs, Sanders' communications director, blamed NGP VAN for repeatedly dropping the firewall between the data of different Democratic campaigns even after the Sanders campaign informed the DNC months ago that the campaign data was being compromised."
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/2015/12/18/bernie-sanders-campaign-disciplined-accessing-clinton-data/77539432/

What would be gained by "stealing" their supporter database...Bernie has more donors and more individual donors, than the other campaign?
The security flaws had been going on for months, the DNC knew about it, did nothing.
It seems the national chair for Hillary for president/DNC chair/person making all the rules should be answering some questions to me.

1. When I saw the headlines this morning

... it struck me as a story designed to cast doubt over Sanders' campaign's ethics. That would be a good move considering that many doubt Clinton's ethics.

3. If I was Sanders campaign, I'd ask for audits of the software and data access for all the breaches

that have occurred and maybe suspend all campaigns access to it.

Why audit and investigate this time and not the others? For all we know, the Clinton campaign may have got Bernie's data months or weeks ago.

Hillary can be like the GOP and hypocritically point the finger when she's guilty of the same behavior. Remember "Shame on you, Barack Obama!!" or her going after Bush admin emails and now “I am all about new beginnings.… So here goes, no more secrecy, no more zone of privacy.” (as she's deleting emails off her server ...)

If the Clinton campaign wants media attention on this, I'd shine the light of scrutiny right back on them as they're likely why this got leaked to the media in the first place.
