I haven't seen any announcement from the Sanders campaign,they were very specific about filing this afternoon.

The federal court option will only be used if the campaign and the DNC can't come to an agreement. Seeing as how DWS has dug in her heels (as she's done so often in the past), there may very well be a motion filed. All they need is a Federal Judge.
