(6,960 posts)The 2014 Congressional and gubernatorial wipe-out of Democrats happened on her watch, under her stewardship of the national party.
Why is she still even DNC chair after that kind of bad leadership and incompetence is a mystery.
Or is it?
Coming on top of the debate set-up that clearly favors Mrs. Clinton, this latest DNC fiasco further taints Wasserman-Schultz.
This episode is bad for the DNC and has Clinton dirty tricks written all over it.
Pres. Obama seems to be completely detached from party leadership, so DWS should resign post haste ... or she should be fired by the national committee.

Your previous response is candy. Back it up.
You disagree - why?
If you can't explain, then why are you here?

(1,061 posts)No mention of Bernie from me. You've invented other narratives.
Questions still unanswered.

(36,926 posts)You are a true believer of Sanders and hater of Clinton, as far as I can see. Trying to convince you to support Hillary is completely pointless. No?
But if you are really curious about her I suggest her website.

(1,061 posts)I ask about issues. You still can't offer a basic defense.
You give me half-baked theories on whom I support, and claim victimhood.
I could always take you up on your brilliant recommendation and go Independent. Isn't that what your OP was about? Alieanating a big slice of the party.
Is that recommended on 'her website'?
(on edit) you wrote the OP. You literallly asked for your time to wasted.
Prepare a simple defense of Hillary's desicions and positions, and this would be so much easier.

(1,061 posts)I had another line of questioning in my head that would have been hide-worthy. I appreciate the backup. Asking to support your candidate is now insulting, apparently.
The OP dropped their bomb and moved on to stir the pot in other threads. Typical.

I'll tell you one thing, Hillary may well wind up in 3rd place if he runs.
I said this before. He does better against the GOP than Hillary.
Right now, we've got a racist carnival barker, a lying, flip-flopper 60% of the country doesn't trust and an electorate sick of Washington. An independent might have a pretty good shot against those two under the circumstances. A bunch of the country doesn't know Bernie - he's got a higher ceiling than where he is right now. Hillary and Trump - folks know who they are and why they like or don't like them and that they represent the Washington establishment. Bernie is not for sale and could be an alternative for their frustrations - punish both sides by not letting them have the White House.

(11,992 posts)in a 3 way race with a Dem and Repub, the Republican wins. Good plan.
Thats exactly why Sanders is not going to run as an Ind.

Bernie doesn't have access to HIS info. How is running as an independent going to solve THAT?

(12,655 posts)and you realize that if he does, its over for hillary. personally, i would love to see bernie in a newly formed progressive party, whoever as the dem, trump as a "conservstive" party, and some repub as an r.
get four of them out there and do runoffs until a victor emerges.

(59,504 posts)Sanders, at this point, is as attractive an independent as either Perot at his peak or Nader ever. Who do you think he takes votes from (Trump, Cruz, Rubio ....) or Hillary.
That was WHY people wanted him to run in the primary -- not general election.

(5,125 posts)... (and probably DWS herself) will support the nominee of the Democratic Party., regardless of who he or she is.
With Bernie, we've got a Two-fer: the best candidate who happens to be the most electable. But Hillary Clinton is a good person who would be a decent president in a totally different class than the "Republicans".
No doubt that il Tupe is a fascist.

(314 posts)Bernie forced to runs as an independent destroys the party as republicans sweep. Blame is thrown at the left as the democratic establishment moves to the right to fill the void as republicans become irrelevent. New left rises. I can see that

(14,689 posts)I figured Hillary supporters would oppose what they view as a Nader-like 3rd Party spoiler. I hope that's the official position of your campaign.

(11,175 posts)As an independent candidate, he would have some chance of winning the Presidency, but a much greater chance of causing the election of the Republican candidate.
Therefore, if Clinton is nominated, Sanders won't stomp off in disgust while charging that the DNC stacked the deck in her favor (even though that would be true). Instead, he will swallow his disappointment, thank his supporters, and urge them to vote for Clinton in the general election.
This idea of putting principle over personal gain seems fairly obvious to me. I'm left somewhat surprised that you even needed to ask the question.
