So, what happened with the last nominee we had who voted for the Iraq war?

The Repubs certainly have the clip of her saying that we gave Iraqis the great gift of freedom, and also her statement that her vote was a mistake. So giving Iraqis "freedom'" was a mistake, Madame Secretary?

Obama hired Kerry, Hillary, and he chose Biden to be his VP. All 3 voted for the war.

The Iraq war was a mistake, but most Americans are looking forward.

GOPers won't bring up the Iraq war because they know Americans still consider it to be their baby.

Minimal impact IMO.

Minimal impact.

That's a sad statement because overall, I think you are 100% correct.

I find it sad because the Iraq war created ISIS. Saddam was an asshole of the highest order, but even beaten, broken and controlled by the US, he still maintained authority and control of far worse extremist element within the region.

It can't be fixed until we come to terms with how it happened.
