HC supporters indict Sanders for failure to break the rules.
update at 11.
John Amato:
We can all thank Debbie Wasserman Schultz for the lack of Democratic debates and the ones she's scheduled for Saturday nights, but why would Bernie bother debating O'Malley in an unsanctioned atmosphere? Martin is so far behind in the polls and is fishing for anything he can catch. Why would Sen. Sanders waste his time at all with O'Malley?
Now if Donald Trump or Ted Cruz called for an unsanctioned one on one debate with Bernie, I think he'd cheerfully jump at the chance.
Maybe Martin O'Malley can convince some of the GOP candidates that are floundering in the polls to debate him.

(58,785 posts)all you want. I for one appreciate your once again discrediting the claims that Bernie is the victim instead of a perpetrator.
Given the riots here on the subject, it certainly can't be said enough, can it?
I asked Senator Sanders to do more, said Mr. OMalley. Senator Sanders didnt want to do more debates either. He kind of liked where it is.

(1,095 posts)Just about 20%, and they're loud. Some great SBS supporters on this board. Unfortunately, they're drowned out by some folks who had a Ron Paul fling awhile back.

(20,043 posts)I don't get why everything has to be nasty. I have not posted a negative word about Bernie, Hillary, or O'Malley. And until now pretty much stayed neutral on supporters on both sides. But the only people that snipe at me or are rude come from the Sanders side. Every. Single. Time.
I post positive threads about all the candidates. Never negative. NEVER.
Unless you consider this comment negative:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=950703 I don't.

(1,095 posts)While they're are some HRC supporters who like to tweak noses, I think most of that is due to what's coming from the other side, for months now. Just look at how MOM supporters get mauled when their candidate has the temerity to step out of (their) line.

(2,570 posts)obviously you're wholly incapable of addressing the material, but then there really is no disputing any of it.
I suppose you can pretend that you did.

meanwhile that O'Malley whined and HC supporters sought a character indictment of Bernie over refusing to break the rules, remains unadressed and wholly intact as the facts in this matter.
thanks

(2,570 posts)is just like O'Malley whining about his unwillingness to join him in rulebreaking
seabeyond
(110,159 posts)not presidential, taking money from the very voters he is asking for a vote.
Yes, I get it. Sanders people think he looks strong. He didn't. It was a fail all around and lasted way longer than needed to. Hurt him way more than it needed to. But, obtuse, he thought he was accomplishing, instead of failing. Once he realized his fail, he started back pedaling. Hence the need to move on. Which was a given from day one. A one day story, instead of two weeks of questioning his integrity he is running on.

oh that's right, you were done before you even started here, no?
meanwhile, the assertions that O'Malley whined and Bernie kicked butt remain wholly intact and unrebutted

I guess Prisons for Profits is ok with you. I guess the militarization of our local police is ok with you. These are things that the Oligarchy establishment has brought us. So vote for them and you vote for more of the same.

(2,570 posts)doesn't rebut the fact that he complained/whined/"complain in a feeble or petulant way." about Bernie's refusal to break the rules.
elleng
(141,926 posts)he's stated clearly and firmly and many times that he wants more debates. I don't recall that he's referred to sanders' 'refusal to break the rules.'
Do you have children? If so, you may know what whining REALLY is. If not, too bad.
stupidicus
(2,570 posts)other than somebody who wants to change the subject because they can't really undermine in any meaningful way the authors characterization of "whining".
Gee what's next, the proper impression was that he was appreciative of Bernie's lack of cooperation in the rulebreaking?
Between the verbals and non-verbals, to say that it looked like a whine is not unreasonable, just annoying to his supporters
comradebillyboy
(10,955 posts)I feel bad for Martin but this is not his year. Sanders is Hillary's big challenger and O'Malley can't make a dent. Bernie is only helped by debating Clinton at the moment and gains nothing from debating Martin even if the rules allowed it.
stupidicus
(2,570 posts)and it was obviously an attempt to get some kinda dig in on Bernie, like he somehow shares the blame for the debate debacle
