(2,642 posts)Is that what it's come to? Using clearly republican propaganda to attack a lifelong Democrat?
Whitewater?
Vince Foster?
Bimbo Eruptions? <- a Limpballs term
Travel Gate?
Cattle Futures?
It's a playlist of tired old GOP talking points and attacks. So thats what Bernie supporters have, and feel comfortable using?
Riiiiiiight.

MrMickeysMom
(20,453 posts)Does that make you feel better about the line propping up (a.k.a. astroturf support, even though you should have seen the banking industry and the MIC)?
I think it does, but it doesn't change the line, now, does it?
No, it doesn't.

(18,998 posts)In fact they are silent on the matter because should she win the nomination that pile swepted under the rug will be dragged out in full view.
And while the political wonks like us can call it bullshit the voting public will not.
They have a ton of it, and they will use it liberally.

(38 posts)While the Hillary camp keeps rabidly quoting every poll under the sun, they forget the hundreds, the thousands, and the tens of thousands that have physically shown up to his rallies, each one a vote for Sanders. How many bodies have actually shown up for Mrs.Clinton this election cycle ...is it even half of what Bernie has pulled ?

(11,945 posts)People were enthusiastic for Obama and I think even more enthusiastic for Robert Kennedy (during his sadly short time), and Gene McCarthy had a sizable youth following, but there's something different about this. It's all electronic word of mouth, a virtual mass media blackout, and it's huge.

I'm feeling the Bern in Iowa, for sure!
The enthusiasm and support for Sanders here is not only wide--but deep. Those supporters attending his rallies can't wait to caucus for him.
I just stopped off at my local field office. Yes, we have a field office in my small Des Moines suburb (and Hillary doesn't!), and I was told that 4,000 people RSVP'd for Sander's New Year's Eve event that was held in downtown Des Moines. The party was originally planned for one ballroom. They had to expand into another large room and crowds gathered in the hallways.
Bernie ended up giving two separate speeches--one in each room, and greeting and mingling with supporters in the hallway.
I seriously think that during the last leg of his Iowa caucus campaign, that Bernie needs to consider scheduling some events in large, indoor venues. He could fill them, for sure!!!
Can't wait to attend some of these events too, and to be a part of history!!

(11,945 posts)So glad people are finally ready, in droves, to hear his message.
I wonder if he's as amazed as some of us are at how beautifully it has turned out?
It's good to be alive at this time, right now, to witness this.
