(7,160 posts)It was positive post I thought. I also want to get support for Ted Strickland who I have known since I was 7 he is great guy and would do a lot for Ohio and America. I don't dislike Bernie at all I really like him, but I have met the Clintons they are great people. Hillary is very warm and personable. She listened to my concerns as a young single mother in 1992, she actually did what she said she would. She has been the voice for children for decades. I think you would like her if you met her.

someone was saying how they were being boastful of the large amount. Then someone mentioned the Bernie supporters do it too. Yet I have not seen anyone saying they donated more than $20 to Bernie though some may have. So yes, on the topic of bragging about your high dollar donation, and "Sanders people do it too" type replies, then amount does come up.

(12,504 posts)Just last week someone was stating that they just donated another $500 to Bernie. I didn't take it as bragging then, and I don't know how many times they have donated $500 to Bernie. I took it to mean they were serious and confidant of their chosen candidate.
So much sour grapes goin on on this thread. Petty, sour grapes.

(7,160 posts)I met her in 1992 when I was working on Bill's campaign. She is very different than the comments I have seen here. Very warm and personable.

(67,112 posts)at all. I just can't get into the infighting about Bernie or Hillary. Whichever one gets the nomination will get 1000% support from me!

(7,160 posts)Our side is light-years away from Republican ideology. I don't get the hate slung at the Clintons on the left
RKP5637
(67,112 posts)We're all democrats, and IMO the merits of one over the other can be discussed without making everything a pissing contest. I just want to see a democrat in the WH in 2016. If that does not happen, millions and millions in this country are going to be totally screwed by the republicans. And, then, there are the SCOTUS nominations, eventually. Disaster could be spelled for a generation or two with major republican victories in 2016. Democrats need to stick together!

Strickland refuses to debate him....
Of course you don't know his name, third way DNC doesn't want you to...
Sittenfeld. 31 years old. The liberal fresh-thinking outsider we need in congress. The one only 1 voter out of 10 in Ohio have ever heard of....
And just like everything good that is possible, DNC will bury him.
I think there is a huge appetite for fresh thinkers and new leaders and just people that can bring new perspectives to the table, Sittenfeld said. Thats one thing that people like, say, a Rob Portman, who has just been entrenched in the culture of Washington for decades, thats just not helpful and its not what we need more of."
