Lillian Aubert, Jane Arminda Delano

Lillian Aubert, US Army Nurse and Warrant Officer during WWI.
Jane Arminda Delano, Director of Army Nurse Corp during WWI.

These two nurses died essentially working themselves to death. Their dedication to preserving life was extreme.

...on either nurse. But I remember reading awhile ago that she was somehow related to that Delano family.

She could have come from wealth and enjoyed a very privileged and sheltered life. She chose to help other people.
