It makes me want to scream that we are even still debating this.
It's like debating the existence of climate change. The same stupid, uninformed 'arguments' about maternity leave and child care. The same distractions about career choice. WTF!
Why is this so flipping hard for so many people to acknowledge? I can't stand it. I can't stand that half the time this idiocy comes from WOMEN. It's like hearing liberals spewing the 'but natural cycles!' shit about global warming.
Seriously. WTF.

We cant say its because [women] work less hours, or they supervise fewer people, said Maatz.
So the bottom line, though. If men and women worked the exact same job, do women still only earn 77 cents on the dollar, asked Blitzer.
There is definitely a gap, said Sylvester. But there are all kinds of other control factors. What college somebody went to. What region of the country. Whether youre talking about salaried workers or part-time workers. The average full-time workers, the difference in pay is 77 cents on the dollar.
However, Sylvester says that if you control for all factors, the pay gap shrinks to approximately 5 cents more for men than for women. It is still there, it is still real and the truth is men make more than women, Sylvester concluded.

(36,463 posts)Blitzer was much worse than Castellanos, who is usually one of the more polite conservatives. It's like they are trying so hard to show that there is no war on women in their party, but their true colors can't help but show.
Both of those men should make public apologies for acting like misogynistic jerks to women who only spoke the truth. Fuck CNN.
