When Miniskirts Attack

It lurks in the shadows, around corners, at teen parties with alcoholic beverages. Colorful, appealing, and ready to take the blame for rape.

Nice job on that. Using humor seems the only way to turn it around in a way that makes it real.

2. I think using humor and focusing on the perpetrators are very useful ways to deal with these issues.

Both are mechanisms to help defuse the pain and make victims/survivors feel less stigmatized.

And this was very well done, when I think about it, rather than turn a women into an inanimate pleasure/tempter object--it used a piece of clothing, very funny and safe and points that 'what she was wearing' finger right back to where it belongs.

do to avoid getting raped. Why not take that same amount of time instead to tell your son hey don't be stupid no is no and drunkenness isn't consent if you can't get yes without the lubrication of alcohol or other form of coercion it's better for everyone if you just go home. That's a cleaned up version of what my father said to me when I started showing signs of being interested in Sex.

I'm still on cloud nine be because my oldest daughter told me my 14 year old grandson 'tries very hard not to objectify women'

I'm having him over this summer so we can talk a little more about that.

Not that I expect very many will watch it.

Seems to not be very popular on this website, for some reason.
