You spoke truth to power. Talk about limiting free speech. It's ok to limit womens speech, ONLY! I guess...
Eta and their autonomy over their bodies! I just can't believe this.
PS to alert stalkers please let us alone to at least support one another in our common cause in our fight for choice and autonomy over our own bodies. This is a feminist group and I would like to be able to support feminists and their causes.

(110,159 posts)anti choice, speaking out against normalizing grown men buying schoolgirls soiled undies froma vending machine causes a hide from our community, but.... acceptance of these behaviors gets a thumbs up.

(110,159 posts)the more i get pissed. k. skinner. lets sit and discuss this issue. really. cause i am told i am suppose to discuss soiled girls underwear sold to grown men, with you.
blows my fuckin mind. not to mention a comment about if i were civil i wouldnt get a hide. i am civil. but how do you talk about schoolgirls underwear sold in vending machines to grown men, and not be offensive. they really do not want us to .... offend. it is an offensive behavior.
k. just a minute. it is a hide thread that explains it. two hides and i was flagged, had to wait for review and could not post. then i was told if i was civil, i would not get hides. maybe someone needs to explain civility to me.
o my, we have our very own Frank Mackies here it appears. Mackie is a character played by Tom Cruise in the fabulous and very dark movie called Magnolia.
This is Mackie: We have our very own mackies here.

ETA: I just responded to the post in GD about jury failure. Here is my post, in case it gets deleted in GD:
31. Exactly.
The jury system here is a massive failure, but apparently there is too much on the line for any admission of that.
Honestly, Skinner just said that it's okay to be anti-choice, as in deny reproductive rights to ALL women, so long as you're polite about it. I've been saying since I joined here that this place is a sexist swamp. Having the owner admit to it is vindicating.

(8,267 posts)First of all to all of you, and much appreciation for your heartfelt support!
I just got back online to find that my post about "he-who-cannot-be-named" was hidden. I am stunned by this. I did not feel that my post was out of line, since so many brave DU Feminists have tried for months to encourage changes in this forum's TOS to address the sexism and misogyny herein, and what have we gotten? Dare I say **crickets** for fear I'll get another hide?
It is inconceivable to me that any individual who self-identifies as a progressive would profess to be anti-choice! The sheer hypocrisy of such an individual boggles the mind! Where are these representative members of this "very small minority"?
So, it's time for someone to "man up" and talk about this issue, and how it detracts from this forum to turn a blind eye.

(16,184 posts)Someone who is anti-choice is NOT a progressive, no matter where they stand on other issues. Denying rights to 50% of the public does not make someone progressive.
