I've asked before, if Nuns actually were radical feminists, what would that make me? It actually makes me LOL. But on a serious note, it just goes to show you that if a NUN is a radical feminist, imagine what those 70's bra burners are?? The framing of this is just silly, but resonates with many....
So, if Catholic Nuns in the US are radical feminists, what does that make you?

(115,103 posts)I dunno, the whole thing is just stupid. Now, instead of using the term 'witches', they go with 'radical feminists'... can't say they'd be the only ones attempting to demonize radical feminists. Wish that were so, but alas.
Also there actually were no 70's 'bra burners', just to be persnickety.

Anytime I see that term it just rubs me in all the wrong ways. So much anti-feminist propaganda to counter... grrr.
