Trigger Warning: Real Women and Girls Behind the Statistics
Trigger Warning: Statistics quoted by James Brown of ESPN are that 3 women a day are killed by their partners.
These stories are graphic and I can't post much because the rights are being reserved. It's worth reading for those who have not experienced or don't know what women are talking about. Those who have and may be made ill, are advised to not go any further.
The first two are from one case, but that is actually about 4 different women hospitalized by the same man. The last story is of a man who raped and impregnated his 12-year-old step daughter.

Yet they offer bail and the maximum sentence for all of these combined, is only 35 years when these women will likely need a lifetime of care for the physical injuries alone.
Now the last case:
Man, 39, charged with impregnating his 12-year-old step-daughter
Only got $100,000 bail.

We need more legislators in the states that are lenient with abuse. It's not just the LEO's, court, etc. Those are all given their marching orders by the state legislators. And increasingly, they are filled with regressives.
