I've lived in Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island. Am a Red Sox fan, and follow both the UConn Men's and Women's basketball teams. (UConn '93)
Married, two kids (twins) & two chihuahuas.
I'm an avid reader, eagerly aniticipating the new Kim Stanley Robinson novel, out this week. Currently reading Willie Nelson's "It's a Long Story". Read Pedro Martinez's autobiography before that, and Elizabeth Warren's before that.
Been blogging at cdogzilla.net for 15 years, mostly on progressive politics, secularism, gun control, pop culture, sports, and whatever else catches my fancy. Also on twitter, LibraryThing, & flickr if you're feeling social

I think you'll like it, there's a sports group and other distractions.
I'm easily distracted ... and I think most of my first posts were in the thread about David Letterman, so I'm getting familiar with the less political areas of the site
Chris is definitely easier, so thank you for that.
