Can't say I'm New to the DU.
It has just about been only main 'Go-to' for any
information I have found worthy to pay attention to, and that said; it has always been an amazing treasure trove of wonderful people and very exciting topics that are being discussed. I have stayed silent for the most part of the 10yrs perusing the headlines and decided to jump in a little with the excitement of this very important election on the way and hope to contribute and support where needed.

It IS a Big Tent! I've been here since Feb 2005 and I have enjoyed myself a lot. I've made new friends, discovered new things and generally had a great time while being here.

Time to Break out of this 'Sack of Crap' Notion that we are a center-right culture and to really get to work!
