How do I unsubscribe to DU?

I've been a member since 2001 or 2002, but I would now like to formally unsubscribe and cut all ties with this site?

Please give me simple instructions.

Thanks in advance.

You can simply log off and not come back. If you change your password to a not rememberable conglomeration, that helps.
You can pm or email admin, or ask in ATA to have your account closed.

Sometimes taking a break is good, I've done it and it helps. Good luck.

You could:

a) simply log off and never log in again

or

b) change your password to something you will not remember then log off and you can't log in again.

Why do so many posters need someone else to do for them what they can easily do for themselves?

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
