Hi,
Been awhile since the new system has been in place but I missed what replaced the jury system. Can someone please post me a link to a faq or provide a quick explanation of what replaced the jury system? Thanks... Peace

1. a NEW jury system!
Ask the Administrators for more info. The process differs, but we do still get to decide.

3. You have set yourself as unwilling to serve.
"Willing to serve on Juries: No"

6. Gee whiz, after all this time, that's weird
I wonder if that is the default, because I was on juries all the time before and haven't been since the latest update. I have changed my preferences. Thanks for all the replies, DU community is always so helpful!

9. It's possible to turn off juries if you decline a single jury
There three options. Accept, Decline, and Decline and Remove me. You probably picked the third by accident

4. You don't get a notice of results after serving, you have more options when on a jury
and if a post gets hidden it just says "post removed". However, all "post removed" have not necessarily been to a jury because newbies will get all their post removed when they get banned also.
Here's the moderating system page, ask for more in ATA if you want more specifics. http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=modsystem |
