I was locked out of DU for weeks!

I requested a new password and didn’t receive an email until today. If that ever happens again, how do I contact you to solve the problem?

Hit it and you will find email address for admins.

2. Do they respond to those emails?

I know in the "Ask the Administrator" forum,
I have waited weeks for responses over my years here.

4. Most sites have a RESET password button......

That happens to me as well . I often change my password and write it down to remember it. Just RESET your password and write it down and keep it in a safe place.

5. I did - several times and never received the reset password email...

Until today! Was very happy to see it!

6. Go to discussionist and ask the admins there. Run by the same people.

11. I tried to sign up at Discussionist

Waited for confirmation email and hit resend over and over but the place is a cesspool anyway but that was awhile ago

I was locked out on terrible November 8 2016 when the site was hacked... tried the email new password feature dozens of times... tried the admin emails no reply... about a week ago the new password button worked inexplicably after a year and a half. Sucked lurking but I'm happy to be back.
