I want to cancel and delete my account

I’m fed up with what passes for “discussion” and as a progressive no longer feel welcome. I’d rather just delete everything and go to Twitter.

My suggestion (and one I follow) is to log out and go elsewhere for a while. Take a long break. I've often found the posters, topics, "cllimate" that pissed me off were no longer evident a few months later.

That said, there isn't really a way to delete your account. You can change your password and close down the email you used to register. Doing so effectively means your account is gone to you.

Imagine the jokes...heh heh. Progressives are good, but, sometimes we have to right the ship before we start getting politically esoteric (imho) Having said that, I enjoy esoterica, and I like progressive ideas. I think Bernie is past his expiry date though, and the man alone makes me turn away sometimes. He came a long way on D shirt tails and then he got foul about the party. Thats a big no no in my book. Thats just me though. Que sara sara.

Her mother died recently so she's been busy. The owner hasn't been around since treason weekend except to post in a Manziel thread. Haven't seen a showercap post since that day either. I knew most of whose left there for years so only place to see them. Really surprised to see Kana Aina get the ban hammer at DU of all people.

In the last couple months I have had 3 of my posts deleted. First time ever... I felt it was completely unfair.

But it is against DU rules to discuss their moderation policy.
