I noticed Google slapped an ad for Independent Voter Network on the DU homepage this morning. For those not in the know, the IVN is festering breeding pool of Ron Paul-lauding wannabe economists armed with tinfoil hats and more psuedoscience than I can shake a stick at.

It seems odd advertising for a libertarian political party on what is essentially a fansite for the Democratic party.

1. Ads are driven by keywords

If people are posting about Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, Brian Brown, or any other number of Libertarians - the googles is going to generate ads related to those topics.

Besides, if they want to pay for us to use this site (and mock their philosophy), why not take their money?
