my DU has stopped changing color of the threads I have read.
Usually the subject goes to a lighter color after I have opened a thread.
Not happening now.

1. Mine are blue, then change to burgundy after I've opened them.
Maybe you need to clear cache, history and cookies, and do a restart.

4. My DU threads have never changed colors.
I want my money back.
Wait a minute. I donate and not near enough for the services I receive. Never mind. Move on. Nothing to see here. |

7. Typically websites have nothing to do with this ...
Your browser keeps track of links you've clicked and changes their color, sites themselves aren't responsible for it.

8. My Mac using Safari browser started doing that when it upgraded software
from MacOS Sierra to Mojave.
When I open DU, all the links are blue appearing to be all unread. Without closing DU, I'll open another window and open DU, but the read links appear purple, as desired. I was wondering if this is an Apple thing or also occurring in Windows? |

11. Mine change colors on some days
Last edited Fri Jun 14, 2019, 12:08 AM - Edit history (1) but not on others. Yesterday morning they did change colors. Yesterday afternoon they remained the same shade.
I just signed back on to make my final visit for the day. All of the threads I visited earlier are now marked. |

12. This is definitely a browser issue. I've had it happen a couple of times.
I'm using Firefox, and it seems that every now and then FF loses track of the Recent History file.
Try opening All History and clicking on a History from a previous day, then clicking on a page from that History. You might have to then go back to today's History, or quit and restart FF -- I don't remember exactly, but once I knew it was the Recent History that was the problem it was easy to work out by trial and error. |

14. There is a mirror site for DU
https://upload.democraticunderground.com
You can end up on it through using the google search on top of the page or by following a link someone who used that search has provided to another post. Since the links are different your browser doesn't know you have been there. Posting and reading works fine on that site. This has had me scratching my head more than once. |
