DU has kicked my ass from time to time, starting way back in 2001 (yeah, my profile says 2008, but me alter-ego was here 7 yrs before that). The best strategy is to walk away for a spell, and then come back with gangbusters blazing!
Okay, even I have to question "gangbusters blazing"? I just made it up. Sound pretty badass though, doesn't it??  |

The fucking news lately sucks so hard that even DU can no longer be a place of solace.
I really wouldn't use facetiousness when a fellow DUer is reaching out for some sort of comfort. I'm close to that point myself.
