Any star members got theirs yet?

Gave them all away already, and bought some more.

8. That's what it said in the announcement from Skinner.

The yellow banner on top?

He said star members get some to give out. Canít remember if they always do that, but the announcement said they were doing so.

12. Nope. And the purchase hearts link just takes me to the membership page

and I've been a star member since 2012!

Lots of folks I'd like to gift!

Help!

13. I've been wondering exactly the same thing every since last Friday when the hearts were announced.

The message from Skinner last Friday said,

"Already a DU subscriber? You'll get some hearts to share -- we will send you a DU Mail message shortly with instructions."

I know that last year I didn't get them either, and after waiting several days I think I posted about it or asked somewhere on the site about it, and some were then allotted to me, and I then gave them away to deserving individuals. I tried to to use the site's Google search for any posting of mine from a year ago about that, but the Google search seems to miss about 95% or more of my posts, and doesn't bring up anything relevant from that time period.

I typically renew every year in early November, just before election day, as a patriotic act, and don't feel inclined to alter that timetable and donate more now just to get some hearts. But if I were to be allotted some hearts, I'd again give them away to those deserving.

Where might we direct a query about this to the Powers That Be that might get a response?

15. Thanks, CaliforniaPeggy. I actually did that earlier today. I haven't heard anything back yet,

but I'll post here if and when I do get a reply, and let people know what I found out.

17. I never heard anything back via DU mail or anything, but I just noticed that I have hearts to give.

As of this afternoon, at the end of every posting in a thread, I now see

Give a valentine heart to <XXXXXXXX>! (<X> remaining)

after the poster's line of hearts (if any).

So my query to "Ask the Administrators" was acted upon, though I wasn't notified.

Well, I'm glad to have them now, and will set about giving them away.
