1. Something you posted in that message violated DU's rules.

4. That's "Post Removed"

The auto-remove message is used when a poster is deleted.

10. Removed the user from the site. Auto removed

all users messages and user name. Banished.

14. Banned users always have all of their posts removed?

Or just sometimes?

15. I've never really checked but I assume all are removed.

I have seen all posts of an auto remove or name removed disappear within a certain group of OPs or replies but I've never looked across the board. That would be difficult to do because you wouldn't be able to search their user name.

16. Typically only recent posts are removed.

A troll or spammer starts an account and posts several posts. It takes anywhere from minutes to hours or days for a jury or MIR Team to nail them. When their account is revoked recent posts are removed automatically.

3. Posts are automatically removed if a poster is deleted from the system.

Trolls, for example, are often removed by the response team.

5. Usually (I am not sure what the guidelines are) you'll get an email too, stating that such and..

such a post got removed too.

7. The message auto removed replaced a message somebody posted to my thread.

I never had a chance to read it,

9. Auto removed means something posted was so egregious that it was

forced into a car, driven into the country, and abandoned on the side of the road.

Dont ask about "aircraft removed".

12. It was killed, with fire.

And Satan will resurrect it with fire to be killed again.

There is no escape from that hell.

13. Post removed means a post was removed by a jury. Message auto-removed means the poster was banned

From DU, either by MIRT or the Administrators.
