How do I get a picture to post?
I have a meme I want to post but when I insert the address in the link function, the picture doesn't appear on my preview.
I've also tried copying directly onto the post, but that doesn't work. How do I post it?

3. It's not working.
Does the fact the image is on FB make a difference?

4. Yes. That doesn't appear to work due to FB's setup. Save it to your desktop and upload it
then post the URL here.

6. Good. It's truly a PITA. Also the carousels or slide shows like 1/50, 2/50 etc often don't work
I use a screen grab and do what you did.

10. EarlG explained the error message on another thread.
A lot of people are getting them. He said Elads working on the system and most likely causing issues.
Glad you got it to work, Baines. |

2. Most times what works for me.
Right click your mouse on the image and a tab comes down. Click on 'copy image address'. Right click on your message/OP and hit paste. That works 90% of the time.

Do I have to upload to a host site in order to post it here at DU?

16. You have to create an account
on one of those sites. I used flickr. I know there are many others. Some charge you. Flickr is free for a minimum level of service. It's not the most user friendly. There probably is something better.
