DU Community Help
Related: About this forumWith thanks to Raindog, I was able to post some photos of my 'work'... I'm still a
beginner, but I love every minute of this.
I've posted photo of a periwinkle, a rose, my Christmas card this year, a couple of onions and a baby coconut I found on the beach in the Caribbean this winter, and painted it down there.
Here goes: http://s1056.photobucket.com/albums/t377/mariposa1000/
Thanks, Raindog!!

(149,593 posts)Now that you have them in Photobucket, you can easily post them here in your thread!
Just hold your mouse over any of your pictures; a list of choices will show up underneath that picture. DO NOT CLICK ON THE PICTURE. Just hold the mouse there.
Then, choose the second option (direct link) and click on that.
Return to your thread and click. Voila! Your picture will show up! Hit preview and you will see it.

(8,543 posts)It's fairly easy to do clickable thumbnail images for photobucket pictures like these:
[div style="display:inline;" title="Click for full size image"] [div style="display:inline;" title="Click for full size image"] [div style="display:inline;" title="Click for full size image"] [div style="display:inline;" title="Click for full size image"] [div style="display:inline;" title="Click for full size image"]
The thumbnail image at photobucket is the same image address but has 'th_' as a prefix. So the image address and thumbnail image address of the first picture are:
[div style="margin-left:1.5em;"]http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t377/mariposa1000/DSCN4255.jpg
http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t377/mariposa1000/th_DSCN4255.jpg
So to do a thumbnail image linking to the larger image you can use the following code (using the above image as an example with the changes to the image address highlighted):
[div style="margin-left:1.5em; color:#000099;"][link:http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t377/mariposa1000/DSCN4255[font style="background-color:#3366cc; color:#ffffff;"]%2E[/font]jpg|http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t377/mariposa1000/[font style="background-color:#3366cc; color:#ffffff;"]th_[/font]DSCN4255.jpg]
So you can see all that is needed is to change the period to '%2E' in the first part of the link tag and add the 'th_' to the beginning of the image filename in the second part of the link tag.

I will try and remember to post more work as it comes out.. It takes several weeks to finish a watercolor.
