I'm trying to renew my Star membership. I have a PayPal account.

The problem is that I go to the DU screen, enter the one time amount, click pay, and it takes me to the PayPal welcome page.
I log in, and then there is no option for making a payment to DU.
I've searched PayPal neither DU, DemocraticUnderground, Democratic Underground LLC nor any variation comes up.
I want to renew, and yes, I could send a check, but it's going to take two weeks to get to you. And I want to avoid that, if I can. I'm in France.

1. If you have entered the one time amount on DU, when it takes you to paypal and you log in,

it should just be completing the transaction with DU and should take you back to DU, confirming that the transaction has been completed. You shouldn't have to enter the amount on PayPal. It should just revert back to Du. That you are in France, could be causing things to act differently, but I'm not able to recreate it.

If it is not doing that, I'd suggest you either email EarlG directly (contact emails at the very bottom of the DU pages) or post in the ask the administrator forum.

The instructions need to be a LOT clearer or provide some other way to pay. I can see where some people simply don't pay because it is too hard to navigate.
