I have to log in every time when I go on DU, even though I am a long time member and current
donor to DU. It's quick process but I never had to log in before so I don't know what is happening.

1. Might be a browser problem
I always recommend the Firefox browser, which is free and open source.

3. Me, too, and it is most annoying.
I’ve sent a question to “Ask the Administrators” a few days ago, but have not heard back yet.

there is an expiration on the stay logged in option.

23. I am so not technie, I don't dare log out and start over. I might have forgotten something
I need to know for logging back in. As long as I am not missing anything I just view it as a minor annoyance (with myself).
Thanks for filling that info in. I was wondering why it was that I needed to log in. Oh, well... |

22. They're right.
Click the stay logged in button.
I’m occasionally logged off because of phone update or whatever, but that button will solve your problem. This is the DU member formerly known as cwydro.

5. Clear your browser cookies and refresh your login information by updating your password.
This will force your browser to ask if you want to save password. If you select yes, then you should automatically login from now on.

17. "Clear your cookies and refresh" Your log in is kept in your preferences/cookies.
If you loose your cookies for DU, you have to log in.. At least that's been my experience..

15. For the last week or so and with no changes to my machine it has been happening to me too.
Then when I go to log in it says I'm already logged in.
Just now, I forced a log out then logged back in, checking the box to remain in. So far, so good. |
