Is there a way to remove specific forums or groups from my Latest Threads feed?

I thought maybe it was because I was subscribed to the group but unsubscribing didn't change anything. I'm just wanting to minimize what I see in Latest Threads since that is my default go-to but I suspect all of us see the same thing?

1. Yes, I just did the same thing. Too many "Music Appreciation" threads being started.

If I want to see a music video, I can go to youtube myself.

Just go that that forum home in "topics" and hide it. It's so easy that even I could do it.

2. Under "My Account" I think you can choose "Trash Thread" and select to only hide certain forums

from your “Latest Threads” feed.

6. Maybe it's time to give Music Appreciation it's own private forum?

A front page connection link? I love Music appreciation and I contribute my fair share, but I agree that it dilutes from the core intent of the LBN feed. Nothing wrong with a vibrant music forum to add to our political discourse.

It would be interesting to look at the posting data for the Music Appreciation forum over the last 12 months.....I suspect it's grown at a impressive rate.

9. +2. While I appreciate some of these posts, I'd prefer they not be mixed in

with the latest threads, which I often check in for a quick scan of news until I have time to really peruse the posts. There seems to be more and more of them, some days it seems 10 music to 1 news. I don't want to trash or hide them, just want to be able to view them separately.

But lately, we just have so many of them in Latest Threads that other topics are obscured.
