Hello, I'm Woodsprite

Welcome to all the new members. It's great to see new faces

I've been a member here since December 2004 and have really been enjoying this Welcome forum. Thanks, Skinner!

My online home is DU. It's my goto place, and the first spot I check for news on the internet.

IRL, I'm married, live in Delaware, am mom to 1 college student and 1 middle-schooler. We have one German Shepherd, who's our furbaby. I'm a web developer - or to be more exact, a web forms creator. I love music, and sing with a group of friends, church choir, and play handbells. Outside of that, my family loves to camp (preferably at the beach) and we get REALLY into decorating for Halloween.

I'm also a mom - mine are younger (5 & 9) and 2 labs. We don't do camping but we do the Halloween thing too - our neighborhood does it up

Nice to meet you

I have a daughter who will be a Senior in HS next year. I have so many mixed feelings right now. On one hand, I want her to go to college, start her life and move away from home and be happy and successful. BUT at the same time, I don't know what I'm going to do without her here, safe at home. I will miss her terribly, just seeing her, talking to her everyday. How do you wrestle with that and overcome it?
