Suddenly, I am not allowed to recommend a post.

I don't know what has happened. This has coincided with our computer screen suddenly flipping from white background with blue/black type to black background with yellow/white type. Suddenly, when I click on that little button to recommend a post, nothing happens.

When I clicked it the box turned yellow and the number inside was updated. I’ve never really understood that function but it appears to work for me.

Or cell phone, or however you access DU?

I, oddly enough, do this on a desktop computer, and I just don't have the problems I'm seeing reported here.

For what it's worth, I do have a cell phone. I make voice phone calls and text messages, and that's it. All of my actual internet activity occurs on a computer. Not sure if that matters.

tried it using Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge and I cannot Recc.

Can't rec your post yet, but it's changed.. screen no longer jumps to top when I hit rec, it just remains still.

And the background is white. I am not sure what happened. Apparently Microsoft Edge was fed up with our frequent use of the Google app. Or whatever it is called.

Oh, well. Didn't really need that in my life anyway. I had an entertaining afternoon and early evening, killing time at ER. Fractured ribs, if you're curious. No reason you should be, really.
