Subscribe to my posts and inbox?

The thing that still drives me nuts about the new design is all of the added clicks.

I can get to forums I visit frequently by subscribing to them. That puts then at the top left and they are still single click (all I have to do is to retrain my muscle memory).

It would make my life almost as easy as it was before DU4 if I could also subscribe to my posts and my inbox in the same way, so they show up on the left and I don't have to click into my stuff to get to responses to my posts, or to DU mail I've received.

2. Another new mail notification is not necessary

because when you get a new mail message, as well as the My Stuff notification you also get the large banner notification at the top of the screen.

It may be possible to add something for post notifications in the left column box though, this is something we're considering.

3. Why not just treat new posts the same as new mail, then?

You've got the code written to make that happen. It shouldn't be too hard to make it work for posts, as well.
