A plea to the moderators and administrators re: Israel/Palestine posts (with poll)

This discussion thread was locked by EarlG (a host of the DU Community Help forum).

As a nearly 20 year member of DU, I am pleading with the moderators and administrators to return to the original rule of limiting posts on Israel/Palestine topics, including US student protests, to those forums.

I am including a poll to assist in gauging community sentiment.

It's a massive topic, so it's staying in GD for now. No polls necessary.
