I noticed that when I open a thread, some of the posts are now highlighted.
Anybody know what this means?

"5 newest" is a useful feature if you're following a thread with lots of responses

I'll solve the problem by turning it off.

and you want to see the most recent, especially if the responses are in subthreads.
