I've seen plenty of GoFundMe's on DU. Some on their own behalf. I'm not 100% sure I've seen one on behalf of another DU member but I'm 95% sure.

I've followed some GoFundMe's here out of curiosity, but I'm no expert at this and am not an authority figure in the least on DU, so all this is my own personal opinion.

Maybe also in one of the support forums if that fits the person's situation
