I keep getting a message

asking for my username and password.

I enter it and it has me to enter it again and agin.
Finally it takes it.

Then--- 10/20 minutes later it asks for me to do it again!

Why????????????????????

1. Is it a DU message?

I haven't seen that.

Is it a windows machine? Your machine may be infected with some kind of malware.

Try http://www.malwarebytes.org

Is it a work, school, or library computer? Do you have a dial-up connection? Some of these will log you out after some period of internet inactivity. The computer may see the connection as inactive whenever you are composing a long post or reply. This used to happen to me when I was using a dial-up connection

If you are using a dialup connection check the settings. I haven't got a windows machine handy to walk you through, but here's the microsoft support page for XP.

I've changed my pass words and checked for Malwear -- everything looks fine with that issue

It's my home computer and no one uses it but me.
