Bug report: When writing a reply and editing the text in the message text box

the entire text box disappears when I use cntrl-X to cut. The message text box does not come back with a back - forward command (buttons or keyboard) and the text is permanently lost. I can re-write the reply from the start by going back into the thread and starting over.

This is intermittent.

Linux with both Debian 3 and Ubuntu 12.04 (also Debian kernel)
Firefox 14.0.1
AMD processor
2GB RAM

Well it's definitely a browser + DU issue. It does not happen anywhere else at all and is only Egalitarian Thug Aug 2012 #2

occasionally here. It's just really odd that specific elements completely disappear while everything that remains seems to be perfectly functional.

It's no big deal either way, I mention it primarily for the purpose of documentation. Thank you for replying.
