How do you email a thread and all replies?

1. I just copy the URL of the thread and paste it in an email.

2. Not really, but thanks for the reply.

Copying the URL and pasting only sends the link (doesn't it?) but sometimes I would like to send (to others or to myself to save) the whole thread in its original form, not just the link, so that all of it is in view. If I copy and paste it to a new email, the formatting changes and it looks a bit strange on the page. Maybe there's something I don't get about this.

3. Unfortunately, emailing the link is really the best option.

There is currently no way to email the contents of an entire thread.

However, the minor formatting change should not be that bad.

If you don't mind editing HTML, you can save the source of the page, edit out the stuff you don't want (left navigation tree), view your new format, then copy it into an email. (This is where a printer-friendly view can be handy.)
