Right.

I tried signing up last year when the NewDU rolled out - mostly so that I could get the OldDU style single-line legible headlines - but after days, weeks, months I gave up trying to get it instituted (my PayPal account had been charged immediately - though oddly always for a future date)

Eventually this charge simply vanished from PayPal, and along with it any desire to repeat the experience.

On the good side, because of my annoyance with the whole fiasco, I have more time for other things, as I no longer spend hours each week on the DU - perhaps an hour a month at most.



Thanks, but not going through that crap once more - that is to say "Take your star ..."

You're not supposed to whine about DU here. This is the Welcome (positivity, please) and Help (I can't get X to work) forum.

You might want to delete and try again in META, instead of putting "crap" (your term) in this (wrong) forum.
