Hello I'm Fearless

I've been around since 2005, and currently host LGBT Group and LBN Forum, although I will be dropping the latter at the end of my term. I've also hosted GD and may look into others in the future.

It is said that there are seven degrees of separation between any two things. And DU has over 150k unique posters and over 50 MILLION posts since 2001. That's a whole lot of connections! I like that, and that's what I'm here for. The GOP has tons of power and money and most of us only have our voices. Together though we are powerful and together we can be victorious! My biggest pet peeves on DU are people who attack each other instead of debating issues and people who get ridiculously offended when others offer differing points of view.

As for me, I'm a proud and out gay man in a long term relationship with an amazing guy. I have a Masters Degree in Education and enjoy photography, writing, and hiking.

I look forward to meeting you around the forums!

Pity y'all aren't closer. There's some awesome hiking around here in NC. One of the best, little-known places is in Transylvania County. I performed a wedding at Moore's Cove a couple of years ago. You can go into the cove behind the waterfall and watch it make rainbows. Awesome place, easy hike, very worthwhile.

That's the happy couple watching the rainbows. You get the idea what a neat place that is.
