Related: About this forumDo Vimeo video's not make it on the homepage?
I posted one in the "Video & Multimedia (Forum)" and it never appeared there.
Is it only youtube video's?

(21,691 posts)I recall seeing a post on that way back when, but there's a (good) chance I'm remembering something wrong. Let me test it ...
<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/51138699?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&color=ff005a" width="500" height="213" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe> <p><a href="http://vimeo.com/51138699">TRUE SKIN</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/h1chung">H1</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>
Looks like I was wrong! Plays on mobile Safari

(17,797 posts)...that they did have to be from YouTube to post to the video forum. Maybe this is still true for them to make the front page, or it could be they have to have a certain number of Rec's (5 maybe?). Not sure, good question, because as I posted below, I do see it and it plays fine for me.

(17,797 posts)...but I'm using Firefox and the old verion of Flash Player, you might not be seeing it because you updated your Adobe Flash Player to the current one which is a major problem for just about everyone, except it seems, for the engineers at Adobe.
Try viewing this post in the Chrome Browser, that might work. I use Chrome whenever I can't get something to work in Firefox, because it uses Adobe Shockwave Player, all other browsers I know of use Adobe Flash Player for stuff like this.
